Redhanded’s electrical safety message has travelled from country Victoria to get on board Tram 3530, in the eastern and northern burbs of Melbourne.

The powerful DIY = DIE campaign was created in response to the death of a dairy farmer in North East Victoria who was trying to repair an electric pump.

Client, Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) reported the launch campaign gained phenomenal traction on the ESV Facebook page. With only 2,000 followers, the TVC was shared 1,600 times and had 255 comments.



With the message hitting home in regional Victoria, the client decided to bring the campaign to the city, following the electrocution of a young man attempting an electrical repair at home.

It’s not the usual type of message that regional specialists, Redhanded, bring to the city, but the client is thrilled with the response.
